Shelby County Aquatic Club
About SCAC
The Shelby County Aquatic Club (or SCAC) is a non-for profit competition swimming organization for youth. SCAC has provided young people throughout Shelby County the opportunity to develop their swimming skills, and to compete throughout Indiana. The student's participation also helps the youth experience and develop very important life skills. They learn about commitment, discipline, and develop teamwork skills to name a few. These valuable lessons help the young athletes achieve in the classroom as well as the community.
Every Shelby County Student who has become anything through swimming, has at one time been with our program. This year their are several Shelbyville High School students with swim scholarships. All of them swam with SCAC for a portion of their lives. When the school season is over (or even before it starts) many high school and middle school students in the Shelby County area, swim with our club.
